Paul Roth
Director of Sales
NMLS #1223259
Paul is the Director of Sales at Future Mortgage Loans, Inc. (FML), a California DRE-regulated mortgage brokerage based in Ontario, CA. With 13+ years in the mortgage industry, Paul has built a career across nearly every side of the business — retail and wholesale origination, correspondent lending, wholesale account management, and hard money and private lending, including cross-collateralized transactions throughout the state of California.
That range is what sets Paul apart. Where many loan officers specialize in a single lane, Paul has worked the deal from multiple vantage points: as the originator sitting across from the borrower, as the account manager evaluating files from the lender's side, and running brokerages, structuring complex, non-traditional financing. That perspective means he can often see around corners on a file — anticipating underwriting concerns, structuring around DTI/income documentation issues, and finding the right lender fit rather than forcing a square peg into a round hole.
Paul is licensed with the California Department of Real Estate (DRE #01999062) and holds his NMLS ID (#1223259).
At FML, Paul's role extends beyond originating loans. He leads the company's loan officer recruiting and development efforts, working alongside broker/owner Fernando Castellanos — a 40-year veteran of the industry — to build a team of fully licensed, client-first professionals. Paul is deliberate about who joins that team, prioritizing genuine commitment to the mortgage and real estate profession over loan officers treating it as one of several side pursuits.
Paul also brings a background in construction estimating and project management, giving him added insight into renovation financing, home equity strategy, and the practical realities of property improvement that many originators simply haven't seen firsthand.
Based in Corona, CA, Paul is active in the Inland Empire community and, outside the office, can usually be found on a golf course, at a billiards table, or bowling with friends.
